When Rashid was first introduced to meditation and yoga, he changed his lifestyle and started practicing meditation regularly. In 1993 he went to the gulf where he studied Energy and Yoga Sciences at Pune in India, as well as other courses which he took in Dubai and Syria. He then joined GMCKS Ashram (Arhatic Yoga and Pranic Healing Foundation) in 2008.
Rashid was certified as an Advanced Pranic Healer using physiotherapy, colors and crystal. He mastered Reiki as well and worked as a healer, yoga instructor, and Feng Shui Consultant.
In 2012, Rashid opened his own center (GMCKS Center) in Bakaata Al-Shouf, Lebanon.
